Use of Facility Request (Non-Members) 

​This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for individuals or organizations requesting to use the facilities of The Christian Jubilee Full Word Baptist Church. Our goal is to support the needs of the community while maintaining the sanctity and stewardship of our sacred space.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

1. Application Submission: A completed Use of Facility Application must be submitted at least 14 days before the desired event date.

 

2. Liability Insurance - Liability Insurance may be required depending on the type of event, expected attendance, date, and time. This helps protect both your group and the church. The church is not liable for any incidents arising from failure to follow the provided guidelines. Non-members must provide proof of liability insurance and supply their own catering services, if applicable.

3. Approval: All applications are reviewed by the Pastor and/or Administrative Services or a designated church officer.

 

 

4. Payment: All fees are due no later than 3 days before the scheduled event. One payment is sufficient. Payment may be submitted via:

5. Clean-Up: Users are responsible for cleaning up after their event. The $100 clean-up fee is refundable within 72 hours of a satisfactory inspection of the Fellowship Hall and Kitchen.

6. Respect for Sacred Space:

  • No drugs, alcohol, smoking, or unauthorized weapons are allowed anywhere on church grounds.

  • No open flames are allowed (e.g., candles); Sternos are permitted with a designated responsible person.

7. Kitchen/Fellowship Hall Use:

  • Return all tables/chairs to their original location.

  • Wash and put away all dishes and appliances.

  • Wipe down surfaces; sweep/mop as needed.

  • Remove all trash and take it to the outside bins.

  • No food or supplies may be left behind unless approved by the Church Admin.

  • The use of church supplies (paper goods, condiments, decorations, etc.) are not included unless prior permission has been given.

8. Decoration Guidelines:

  • Decorations must be approved in advance.

  • Nothing may be mounted on the walls without written permission.

9. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.

  • The church reserves the right to deduct expenses incurred if canceled late.

  • If any funds were collected, they will be refunded (minus applicable costs) within 72 hours after cancellation.

10. Audio Visuals: All audio/visual materials—including music selections (MP3/MP4/CD) and slideshow presentations (MP4)—must be submitted to the Music and Media Ministry at cjfwbcmedia@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the service for testing and approval.

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

 

1. Who can rent the church facilities?
Anyone may request to rent the facilities. Priority is given to church-related activities, and all requests are subject to approval by church leadership.

 

2. What’s included in the Sanctuary rental?
The $400 Sanctuary rental includes use of audio/visual equipment and live streaming for up to 4 hours, and additional hours will be billed at a rate of $50/hr. The Sanctuary accommodates up to 300 people.

 

3. How do I submit music or a slideshow for a funeral or memorial service?
All audio/visual materials—including music selections (MP3/MP4/CD) and slideshow presentations (MP4)—must be submitted to the Music and Media Ministry at cjfwbcmedia@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the service for testing and approval.

 

4. Can we use the kitchen with the Fellowship Hall rental?
The kitchen is a separate rental at $150. It includes the use of appliances, but must be cleaned and returned to its original condition after use.

 

5. Is the clean-up fee mandatory?
Yes, a $100 refundable clean-up fee applies if you are renting the Kitchen and/or Fellowship Hall. It will be refunded within 72 hours of a successful post-event inspection.

 

6. Is liability insurance required?
Liability insurance may be required depending on your event type, expected attendance, and date/time. This helps protect both your group and the church.

 

7. What services are available for funerals or memorials?
You may request the use of the Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Musician, Ministerial Services, and Media Ministry support. Each service is listed in the Facilities & Fees section.

 

8. Can we bring our own caterer or event coordinator?
Yes. However, outside users must provide proof of liability insurance and must supply their own catering services. Use of church kitchen supplies are not permitted (napkins, paper supplies, table linens, etc.) unless prior permission has been given.

 

9. How and when do I make a payment?

Payment must be received no later than 3 days before the event. You may pay via:

 

10. What happens if I need to cancel?
You must notify the church at least 48 hours in advance. Any expenses already incurred by the church may be deducted from your refund. If any funds were collected, they will be refunded (minus applicable costs) within 72 hours after cancellation.

 

11. Can we decorate the space?
Yes, but decorations must be approved in advance. Nothing may be mounted on the walls without written permission.

12. Is security required for events?
Yes. Security is mandatory for all non-member events and may be required at the church’s discretion based on the type or size of the event. Security is billed at $50 per hour and will be coordinated by the church.

13. Does the church design and print programs for my event?

No, but we can recommend a trusted vendor if needed.

14. Is the Eulogist and the Officiant the same person?

No. The Officiant serves as the presider of the service, while the Eulogist delivers a message of encouragement.

15. Will the Eulogist or Officiant accompany the family to the burial site?

No, unless requested and arranged in advance. The burial location must be within 15–20 miles of The Christian Jubilee FWBC. A separate fee may or may not be incurred if the distance exceeds 20 miles.

16. Will the church provide catering services for my event?

No, but we are happy to recommend a caterer.
